  1. Ryman Auditorium

Built in 1892, the Ryman Auditorium was the original home to the Grand Ole Opry. The auditorium was built at the Union Gospel Tabernacle, and operated as the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. Today it is known as “The Mother Church of Country Music.” The venue has been home to thousands of performances from jazz recitals to Broadway musicals.

2. Country Music Hall of Fame

One of the world’s largest museums and research centers dedicated entirely to American music, the Country Music Hall of Fame is also home to the world’s largest collection of country music and relics. If you want to be inspired, this is the place to go.

3. RCA Studio B

If you’re a fan of Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton and the Everly Brothers, RCA Studio B is a must visit in the Music City. More than 35,000 songs have been recorded here.

Walk down Lower Broadway in Nashville, and you’ll hear local music strumming out of all the local establishments, day or night. 5. Grand Ole Opry

Founded on November 28, 1925 by George D. Hay, the Grand Ole Opry started out as a one-hour radio “barn dance’ on WSM. It is now dedicated to honoring country music and its history with performances by famous music legends and chart toppers alike. The Grand Ole Opry seats 4,400 and is considered the largest broadcasting studio in the world!
